This asynchronous pre-bar exam course focuses on the three components of the NextGen Bar Exam—multiple choice, performance tests, and integrated question sets. Enrollment may be in one or both semesters. The course is designed to give students a significant head start on doctrinal review and academic and exam-taking skills development. The course emphasizes skill development through self-assessment techniques, critical reflection, journaling, and the creation of study tools such as mind maps and flowcharts. The syllabus includes approximately 200 multiple-choice questions, three graded integrated question sets, and two graded performance tasks, along with six self-graded integrated question sets and two self-graded performance tasks. Students will practice with NextGen question types including analytical multiple-choice questions, issue-spotter multiple-choice questions, integrated counseling sets, integrated drafting sets, performance tasks, and research performance tasks. Graders provide comprehensive feedback on both content and structure, along with strategies for future improvement. The course culminates in a final examination designed to help students assess their progress and identify areas for improvement. [Description pending approval.]
