7293. Bar Preparation I: Uniform Bar Exam

This asynchronous pre-bar exam course focuses on the three components of the Uniform Bar Exam—the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), the Multistate Essay Exam (MEE), and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT). Enrollment may be in one or both semesters. The course is designed to give students a significant head start on doctrinal review and academic and exam-taking skills development. The course emphasizes skill development through self-assessment techniques, critical reflection, journaling, and the creation of study tools such as mind maps and flowcharts. The syllabus includes approximately 200 multiple-choice questions, three graded essays, and two graded MPTs, as well as six self-graded essays and two additional self-graded MPTs. Graders provide comprehensive feedback on both content and structure, along with strategies for future improvement.
