This course develops foundational lawyering skills in legal analysis, research and associated technology, problem-solving, and predictive writing. Students analyze legal issues, design and execute research strategies, and produce clear, objective, and well-supported written work through drafting and revision. The course emphasizes analytical reasoning and effective written communication. Students are also introduced to the lawyer-client relationship, including foundational interviewing and counseling concepts.
