his course is an advanced course in trial advocacy done in partnership with the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association that culminates in a national trial competition sponsored by the American Association for Justice in early March. Students in this course are afforded the opportunity to strengthen their trial skills by working in a small group with experienced trial lawyers to prepare and try a case (an experience modeled to simulate a law firm environment). Enrollment is by permission of the instructors only; candidates are recommended by the executive board of the UCONN Mock Trial Society. Pre or co-requisite: Evidence (7560).
